Authority of Scripture

We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and is the final authority for our faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:14-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21). We gladly submit ourselves to its authority in every area of our lives.

Worship & Prayer

As Christians is it our duty and privilege to worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). We exist to glorify God. Therefore we ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name (1 Chronicles 16:29-30). We worship him corporately through song, prayer, and by hearing and responding to his word.

As God’s children we have the privilege of bringing our needs, concerns, and desires before our Heavenly Father (Matthew 6:5-13, 25-34). We believe persistent prayer moves the hand of God (Luke 18:1-8; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; James 5:13-18). Thus we pray unceasingly for God to establish his Kingdom on earth for the praise of his glory.

Missions & Evangelism

We desire to see the gospel of Christ proclaimed to all people in every nation (John 20:21-23; Acts 1:8). We believe that “missions exists because worship doesn’t.” We are committed to supporting the work of missions through prayer and financial support to the end that people everywhere may exalt Christ as Lord.

We desire others to know and experience God’s love and the transforming power of the gospel as we have (Romans 5:5; 2 Corinthians 5:11-21; Titus 3:4-7). Subsequently we endeavor to share the gospel unashamedly with every person God brings into our lives (Matthew 28:18-20; Romans 1:16-17; 1 Corinthians 9:19-23).

Discipleship & Community

We are dedicated to making disciples who in turn will make disciples (Matthew 28: 19). We believe Christians can learn from and encourage one another and that it is helpful when a less experienced Christian is mentored by a more experienced Christian (2 Timothy 2:2; Titus 2:3-4).

As members of Christ’s body we seek to cultivate a community characterized by love, friendship, encouragement, and mutual submission (John 13:34-35; Romans 13:8; Ephesians 5:21; 1 Thessalonians 5:14). We desire to share our lives with one another as we walk together on our journey of faith.
